Duelling Paintbrushes: Cold Ones done

We're nearly two thirds of the way through October, but I finally have a unit to show for the time I've spent painting. I'm calling the Cold One Knights done, even though there are really details I would ideally have liked to touch up. The fact of the matter is that I'm sick of this unit. In my last post I declared they were almost finished, then I managed to waste 2 or 3 hours just painting the black details - mainly cleaning up things that had been painted over. I got the grumps and am now willing to call them done as-is.
10 Cold One Knights, more or less finished.
The unit champion. Ideally the Cold One should have some more colour on his horns and spines, but it's really in the "too hard" basket for now.
Obviously the banner is staying plain red for now. None of this fancy-schmancy free-hand nonsense that Owen has been producing. That would take time...
And finally a random knight, just as another example.
From here, I am hoping to get a unit of crossbowmen and one of spearmen done, and then a couple more characters. It sounds like a lot, but I'm expecting them to be much, much faster than the Cold One Knights. So I might still make my target. If I'm disciplined. Could happen...

  1. Huzzah! The knights who say 'I have a cold-hearted desire to remove your heart and kick small puppies' are complete! This is a great day for Clan Johnson!
