Finuval Plain: Bolstering the ranks

So a date has been set for the big battle, with the Elves scheduled to slaughter each other on January 2. This is pretty soon (less than a week away), so I'm scrambling a bit to try to get things as ready as possible. Over the last few painting sessions I've been working on adding to my existing unit of Swordmasters of Hoeth, and I'm now ready to call them "close enough" (my usual painting standard, really)...
23 new Swordmasters, ready to rumble. A random mix of metal models and the plastics from Island of Blood.

So these 23 new guys tack onto the ones I already had painted, and that makes for a total of a bit over 50. Enough for a respectable unit, although I still don't want to think about what might happen if they run into a proper horde of Witch Elves with a Cauldron.
A more respectable unit of 50. Enough to scare most things, although Dark Elves will be less worried than most.
From here, I am really running out of time to have much of an impact on what we have available, but I may yet be able to bump up one of my other units. Now I just have to decide which...

    1. Cheers. Yeah, it would be a goodly number for a normal game.

    1. I don't think the Banner of the World Dragon will feature in this game. Including it would raise the question of who really are the bad guys in this battle?
