I just found your blog looking for pics of the Empire special Edition BSB from Storm of Chaos. What an army you have! Your conversions, additions, army size and painting all make for such a wonderfully cool army. You are an inspiration!
Fantastic paint job. Even those old plastic claymore halberds look great when painted by a true professional. Also nice to see cavalry in horde formation:) Do you ever use minatures from other companies or just from GW? I´d like to know how you rate those new plastic landsknechts from Pro Gloria(kickstarter going on) or the Perry range.
When they're inside human units, they're just unit fillers - so each ogre is just representing 4 human halberdiers. If there is a unit of the halberd ogres running around by themselves, they would be ogres with great weapons.

ReplyDeleteThanks! Glad you're inspired - this is a large part of what the blog is about.

When you put the ogres in your units of say halberds, do you use them as ogres or as just a cool modification that is still used as halberds?
