Rumble in the Bronx does indeed start tomorrow, and I do have a lot of work still to do. Just in case you hadn't worked it out yet, I bit off more than I could chew (again). The last couple of nights have been late ones, trying to get my army in order. Here is what I did last night...
Yeah, I had to do pretty much all of this last night. The flying carpet itself was nearly finished, at least. |
He has no weapon, because sexy heroes need no weapons. Instead he has fabulous flowing locks and a cape. So let's face it, he's equipped. |
I liked the idea of him running along next to his friend, but in the end the space on the base forced me to go for a more static pose. |
Fur, fur, fur. I thought about adding a couple of things to break it up a bit, but time was not on my side. Another thing for later, maybe. |
You can paint all that and have plenty of time to sleep as well,i predict 4-6 hours sleep for you.
ReplyDeleteQuite possibly right. Early start tomorrow to drive down to Geelong before the tournament kicks off...
DeleteSo close man!!!. Down to finishing 2 banners this arvo/car trip/while drinking tonight haha!
ReplyDeleteClose, but a lot of work still to do for me. 2 banners sounds wonderfully relaxing by comparison. :P
DeletePaint Sir, Paint and stop this blogging nonsence. Actually rather well done and best of luck with both the painting and the Rumble itself. Cheers Chris
ReplyDeleteOh don't worry, I don't blog when I could be painting...
DeleteC'mon Greg, you've got this far - don't give in to sleep now! And anyway, everyone knows it not a real tournament unless you're adding the finishing touches in the car on the way down ;)
ReplyDeleteAwesome models. Wish you all the best to get them done in time. Great sculpts.
